PRODUCTION DESIGN PROCESS

The INSPIRATION

I try to decide early which direction I want a project go. Getting the right starting sounds is key really, then playing with them to see where I can take them. Gathering a collection of ideas helps to keep production at an organic level giving a rich and solid spectral definition of a project objective, right from the start.

The JAM and PRODUCTION

Hours sat in the studio, editing and tweaking, automating and jamming differen sounds together, is really what it's all about. I keep it as analogue as possible throughout to retain that authentic sound system vibe. It has to be heavy and it has to have groove as well as have depth, punch and richness. Prerequisites before making it to the next stage.

The FINAL Product

Through a maticulous process, of referencing through many sources and bouncing of many ears, through many painstaking hours of analysing, listening, monitoring, bouncing, tweaking and compressing it finally makes it to the rig testing. Loud and proud! Then returning to the studio for last mix tweaks.

Schedule One Recordings

I was super stoked about this signing as I've followed this label from the start! USA based and a very busy label, which has literally taken my exposure to the next level. The label has a huge library of different styles of DnB. Find them on Soundcloud here

Tesseract Recordings

D-Flect and Arcus have really nailed it with this formula. They have some awesome music forthcoming from some amazing artists! You can find their entire back catalogue of free tracks on their Soundcloud page here, as well as clips of their upcoming releases

Allowance Records

A genre busting label for sure, knocking out Jungle/DnB styles like they have a conveyor belt lol They gave me my first remix opportunities for Exit Point and Hannibal Selector. Am now really looking forward to more remixing! check out their Soundcloud page here

Deconstructed Recordings

Label based in the United States and created by Blueprint & Audio Agent focused on everything Drum and Bass. Their music is predominently of the Rollers sub-genre and of very high quality. You can check out all of their material here

Auraya Recordings
